  • 1 tsp salt
  • 40 g coconut oil

For the filling:

  • 140 g vegan butter
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 3-4 tbsp cinnamon

For the glaze:

  • 150 g icing sugar
  • 4 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Crumble yeast cubes in lukewarm water, add sugar and mix.
  • Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
  • Heat the coconut oil so that it becomes liquid and let it cool down a bit (it must not be hot anymore).
  • Add oil and salt to the yeast mixture and mix.
  • Gradually add the flour and knead until a ball of dough is formed.
  • Put a wet cloth over the bowl and let the dough rest in a warm place for at least 1 hour.
  • For the filling, combine the butter at room temperature with the other ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Grease the baking pan with butter and set aside.
  • Shape the risen dough into a ball.
  • Dust the tabletop with flour and roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  • Spread the filling evenly on the dough.
  • Over the long side, tightly roll up the dough to form a large roll.
  • Carefully divide the roll into pieces with a knife or silicone spatula (about 12 pieces).
  • Spread the snails in the baking pan, let them rise for 10 minutes and then bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Mix the powdered sugar with water to make a velvety glaze and pour over the cinnamon buns.
