APPLE-RHUBARB-PLUM CRUMBLE WITH ICE CREAM
The fastest dessert recipe for the whole family! Can be prepared super in advance and tastes heavenly.
Ingredients
For the fruit mix:
- 3 sticks rhubarb
- 2 apples
- 6 plums
- 5 tbsp brown sugar or agave syrup
- 5 tbsp spelt flour or starch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
For the crumble:
- 200 g spelt flour
- 50 g brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 40 g coconut oil or vegan melted margarine
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions
- Cut the rhubarb, apples and plums into pieces and place in a large bowl.
- Add sugar (or agave syrup), cinnamon, cornstarch (or flour) and vanilla extract to the fruit, mix well and let sit for a while.
- For the crumble, put all ingredients in a bowl and knead lightly with your hands until crumbles form.
- Put the fruit in a baking dish, spread the crumble on top and bake in the oven for 40 minutes on the middle shelf at 180 degrees.
- Pour vegan ice cream on top and enjoy.
