VEGAN BLT SANDWICH

Quick, delicious and juicy! This sandwich has everything you need. Our vegan bacon combined with lettuce and tomatoes, topped with our vegan cocktail sauce, makes the perfect sandwich!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices toast
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • onion

For the vegan bacon:

  • 2 sheets rice paper
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • salt and pepper to taste

For the vegan cocktail sauce:

  • 5-6 tbsp unsweetened soy yogurt
  • 1 tsp ketchup or tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1,5 tsp vegan mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Hold the rice paper sheets in cold water for 5 seconds and stick together.
  • Cut into long strips with kitchen scissors and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Mix all the remaining ingredients for the "bacon" to make a marinade and brush both sides of the strips with it. Bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
  • Mix all ingredients for the cocktail sauce together well and season to taste.
  • Toast the slices of toast and top. Enjoy!
